My UPA article on Using Die Cuts

To Die For is our July theme at Unruly PaperArts Blogozine.  This month we're featuring articles using dies and punches.  My article is published on July 3 HERE.

I have a plethora of die cuts so I decided to share what I know about using them.  Please visit UPA to read my article and leave me some love!

Here is one of the things I made using a die cut.  It is the Arianna bloom from Heartfelt Creations.

First I stamped with clear Versamark onto pink medium weight cardstock.  Then while the ink was still wet, I sprinkled on JudiKins kaleidescope embossing powder.  After heat setting the powder, I used the matching die to cut out the flowers.  I cut the centers from pale orange cardstock.  I wet distressed the flowers and used a stylus to help shape the petals.  Then I assembled the flowers using 3 layers, a brad, and a glitter button.
